International Mission
Risen Savior will be sponsoring our first ever International Youth Mission Trip to Guatemala. The mission will be run through our partnership with Side by Side Ministries. Side by Side has been organizing mission trips to Guatemala for three years and they work closely with a Catholic orphanage, Ñuestros Pequeños Hermanos, nph.org.
This mission trip is open to youth who have already been on a mission trip with Risen Savior, have shown a serious commitment to growing in their faith, and who have gone through an interview with the Youth Minister. The interview will be schedule upon receiving your application.
The cost of this trip is significant and we will do what we can to enable you to fundraise the necessary amount. However, it is up to each individual person to make sure they come up with the cost of the trip. Participants of this trip will be included in the fundraising efforts of the mission to the Apache Reservation.
If there are not enough youth who sign up to go to the International Mission they will have the option to join the Apache Reservation mission trip. We reserve the right to cancel the International Mission Trip due to lack of interest, deposits will be refunded in full in this case.
Youth are expected to be active in
faith growing activities as they prepare for the mission trip. This includes attending Sanctuary regularly to grow as a community.
