Apache Reservation Mission
Risen Savior is sponsoring our 13th annual Mission Trip. There is a strong tradition that was started in our parish community to involve young people in making a difference around the US. This tradition has taken us to Montana, South Dakota, Washington, Arizona, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Wyoming. We have worked in small towns and Indian Reservations to improve the morale of the communities by painting and fixing houses and bringing the Good News of Jesus to young people in Kids Clubs.
This summer we will be going to the Apache Reservation in east central Arizona. This will be the second time we have been out there. The youth will get opportunities to meet tribal members and gain valuable insight into the US-Indian relations. If there are not enough youth who sign up to go to the Apache Mission they will have the option to join the International mission trip. We reserve the right to cancel the Apache Mission Trip due to lack of interest or a disproportionate number of youth who plan to attend the International Mission, deposits will be refunded in full in this case.
Youth are expected to be active in faith growing activities as they prepare for the mission trip. This includes attending Sanctuary regularly to grow as a community.

The cost of the trip is $700 with a $175 deposit required when you sign up. You can offset this cost through fundraising.
