Confirmation Retreats
When: February 5-7, 2010
Who: Students in the Confirmation program
Where: Meet at Risen Savior, bus to Lumen Christi
Pickup: Parents are invited to attend church and a reception on Sunday February 7 at 10:30 am. You must arrange for transportation home from Lumen Christi Church. We encourage you to carpool with another student if your parent’s are not coming for the Mass and reception. The address for Lumen Christi is: 2055 Bohland Ave. St. Paul, MN 55116

About the Weekend:
This is a great weekend to explore your faith in a deeper way. We strive to make this Confirmation retreat fun, engaging, and life giving. You'll laugh and goof off with friends, participate in outrageous stunts, cool team games and learn some good stuff about being crazy for God.
If you bring the right attitude and outlook you will come away having a good weekend.
What to Bring
- Sleeping Bag
- Air mattress - you’ll be on the floor
- Pillow
- Towel
- Coat or jacket
- Toothbrush and Toothpaste
- Swimsuit
- Bathroom necessities
- Casual Clothing
- Snacks
- Great attitude
- Necessary medications (must be turned in)
- Bible
- $15 for a t-shirt if you didn’t pre-pay for one and you still want one
Meals:
Meals include a snack on Friday night, Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late night snack, and Sunday brunch.
Housing:
Participants will be staying in a school or church classroom. Males and females will have separate sleeping areas. Blow up air mattresses are highly encouraged. Also make sure to have warm enough blankets or a sleeping bag.
Conduct:
Participants are expected to treat the facility and others with respect. All conduct problems will be taken up with group leaders and participants. Parents will be contacted day or night to pick them up. Illegal drugs or alcohol are never permitted.
