Requirements: You must submit to a background check, sign our volunteer agreement, and attend a Virtus training seminar. There is an adult leader meeting on June 3rd at 7 pm in the Youth Room.

Position Description

As a Summer Stretch Chaperone you will help supervise the youth during the afternoon activities. During the afternoon we go to many fun places for the kids like: bowling, movies, tubing on the Canon River, Water Park of America, Nickelodean Universe, Grand Slam, Country Joe's Racing, picnics, and ValleyFair. This is a fairl low-key and fun volunteer opportunity. Many of our senior high SLT will be helping to supervise the youth and correct problems so you are needed to help minimize risk and build positive relationships with youth.

We need you to be at the church by 12:30 pm on Tuesday's of Summer Stretch and stay until we get back from our activity, by 5 pm.

This position is part of our incentive program. For each week you volunteer with us throughout the summer we will give you $15. This is an optional program so if you would like to volunteer without the stipend that is ok too. To join the incentive program simply note that in the comments section of the Volunteer Signup below.
