Requirements: You must submit to a background check, sign our volunteer agreement, provide a copy of your drivers license, and attend a Virtus training seminar. There is an adult leader meeting on June 3rd at 7 pm in the Youth Room.

Position Description

As a Summer Stretch Driver you will help to safely transport the youth to and from their service site and stay with them to supervise. Some of the sites we have been to in the past have included: Goodwill, CAP Agency sites, Community Action Council Lewis house, Adopt-a-river sites, Ebenezer Ridges, meals on wheels, and others. 

We desperately need drivers so if you have a way to help us on Tuesday mornings it would be greatly appreciated. 

We need you to be at the church by 8:45 am on Tuesday's of Summer Stretch and return by Noon. Please mark how many people with seatbelts you can hold in your vehicle (not including you.)

This position is part of our incentive program. For each week you volunteer with us throughout the summer we will give you $15. This is an optional program so if you would like to volunteer without the stipend that is ok too. To join the incentive program simply note that in the comments section of the Volunteer Signup.
